Good documentation makes products easier to use, makes devices easier to integrate, and can save countless hours for developers and users. Good documentation reduces the load on customer support personnel, provides a better user experience, and can greatly increase use and acceptance of products. Microvision Complete product documentation for bar code scanners including knowledgebase, user manuals, technical manuals, protocol/SDK/API documentation, code documentation (from scratch and retrofit), newsletter articles, and FAQs.
Microsoft Detailed protocol compliance documentation required by the US Justice Department and European Union. Updates were mandated by DoJ and EU and required agency approval. Required extensive tracking, reviewer feedback, use of Microsoft style guidelines, and collaboration. Tools used included DxStudio (XML), Product Studio, and Visual Studio.
Hayton Systems Online and printed user manuals for asset management applications. One example application was the Pole Track system used by telecom companies.
MarketOrder Seamless ordering system including system design, application specifications, and prototype manuals (printed and online).
Telxon Application user manuals, site survey documents, SDK documentation, programming class (C/C++/RamSaver), and RF seminars.
